Sound quality is good but I don't like the touch controls

I bought these as a transitional pair until I can find a replacement for my old headphones. I like them, sound quality, connectivity and battery life are ok, not exceptional, they crackle a bit when another Bluetooth audio device is nearby and they don't work all day or so, but ok for my purposes. The biggest issue I had was the adjustment and touch controls. They're completely wireless, which is handy, but they're lightweight, making them easy to slip out of your ear when you move around. This can usually be done simply by simply re-inserting with your finger, but since these earbuds have touch controls, sliding the earbud back into your ear will ALSO send a command to hang up your call / turn the volume up or down / go to the next song or podcast episode in your playlist / go to the turned the receiver off completely, which is very annoying when I'm walking down the street with an armful of groceries just trying to quickly adjust my receiver so it doesn't fall out without missing the entire second half of my podcast episode or bursting my eardrums with a sudden increase in volume. I think this is a classic case of trying to add extra functionality to a simple product to justify a higher price point. These would be perfectly acceptable $20 wireless headphones with a charging case and no touch controls. hang up / turn the volume up or down / skip to the next song or podcast episode in your playlist / turn the phone off completely, which is really annoying when I'm walking down the street with a bunch of groceries and just trying to quickly pick up my phone so it doesn't fall out without missing the entire second half of my podcast episode or bursting my eardrums with a sudden increase in volume.
