Man I wanna love these things but what a pain. Out of the box they seemed to work great. Make sure you have a very powerful USB power supply, these things suck a lot of juice. A small 5v 1 amp charger won't cut me. You'll need at least 2 amps, but I'd try to find a good anchor or something that can really pump out the power. There is not enough power and the LEDs at the end of the circuit are dim or colorless (especially if they are completely white). Next, the app is literally garbage. Don't bother either. Hardly works, connection problems and spotting. Finally, and my biggest complaint, is that the RGB ALWAYS gets off track. I press the green button on the remote and they are red! Press red and they're blue! It is extremely difficult to get the exact color you want. Sometimes they fix themselves, sometimes I could go into the app and change the RGB order settings (which again hurts, the app sucks). So when they work, they look great, but don't expect these dumb things to work all the time. I suppose if you just want to set them to one color they work fine, but that doesn't make any sense!
