I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the necklace case. My first thought was that it was worth more than what I paid for. The durability of the case is amazing. The heavy, sturdy box with a glass top and leather upholstery is much more than I expected. The hinged clasps that close the box are solid, as are the small necklace hooks inside. I don't plan on moving the hooks much. I have loosened them enough to slide the necklace chains underneath and will just slide the chains out when I select the necklace to wear. The velvet is nice and keeps the chain in place. My box is in the top drawer of the dresser. It fits perfectly. My only suggestion is to make the case even more rectangular (like a tie box) to accommodate longer necklaces. I will not hesitate to purchase more products from this company. Very very happy with my purchase!
