very big yes! They are moderately high waisted and sit naturally just below the belly button and just below the ankles. Incredibly comfortable, stretch just right. The inside of the pants is a good soft material, not the kind of plastic material sometimes found with velvets. I'm 5'6", about 126 pounds, waist: 27, hips: 38 and I've grown short. It makes my butt nice! I had them in black and olive. I will probably order another color! I've worn these blacks with stilettos, bottom with sneakers and middle with ankle boots and loved the versatility. I was a little hesitant to purchase a product with no reviews but sooo glad I did! They also came with a drawstring waist but I didn't feel it was necessary so I took it off.
