Easy assembly. The wooden part of the crate and the insert were pre-assembled so all that was left was to attach the legs. It was a little disappointing that the color of the wood and inserts were a little darker than the picture advertised and there was no backing on the bedside tables. The screws that hold the legs together in the middle are also fully visible and aren't the same color as the metal legs themselves. Generally I'd like to pay less for quality.
