Fantastic light with flexible lighting options. I've been using this light for over a year and absolutely love these lights. One of the two had an issue that was quickly replaced by Current USA after being diagnosed. They sent me a new lamp and provided a return label for the old one. Make sure you choose the right light and intensity for your aquarium (and your plants). The PAR values for these lamps are fully reported on the manufacturer's website. So if you try to swap out 4 high wattage fluorescent bulbs for a small LED bulb and are surprised there isn't enough light, it's your own fault. http://current-usa.com/aquarium-led-lights/satellite-led-fixtures/satellite-freshwater-led-plus/ My aquarium (ADA 60P) is just under 24" long and a 24-36" fixture fits It's like it was made for it. I started with low light plants and a Sat+ plant and later added plants that needed more light so I added a second one. That gives me about 60 PAR by 12 inches, which is perfect for my needs. I inject CO2 and my plants are very happy! The lights look very slim and unobtrusive on the aquarium, in contrast to the larger and bulkier lights from other manufacturers. (Even most other companies' LEDs are much less smooth than these). The current ramp timer turns these lights on and off just fine, but special modes cannot be used. However, there are easy-to-build Arduino-based controllers available (no soldering required !) which can fully automate these lights and I am very happy with how well everything is working now!
