Just a large (which I could count 10 amps) 5v power supply with almost no filters. and then all ports are connected in PARALLEL, allowing devices to draw up to 10 amps from 1 port. Not restricted or regulated like USB should be. A short circuit in one device or cable affects all other devices as well. The Alto's power level is wrong when the power supply is 10 amps, that's only 2 amps per port at max power. If you love or care about your devices, DO NOT BUY THIS. In addition, 3 cables for iPhone (lighting) and 2 micro-USB are included. and only ONE Type C. All my phones, tablets and even my flashlight are Type C.
