Review on πŸ”¦ WF Magnetic Work Light: Versatile LED Flood Beam Lamp for Truck, Trailer & Off-road Emergency Repairs by Craig Mcdonald

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good light but very weak magnet. . .

I bought this light to fit on a zero turn lawnmower to give me a little extra mowing time after the sun went down. It plugs directly into the lawn mower's cigarette lighter style 12 volt outlet and the power switch is located on top of this plug. Haven't tried it after dark yet, but it seems to be working well enough for my needs so far. The biggest downside is that the magnet at the base is terribly weak. I'm not sure what the manufacturer wants to hold on to, but even the slightest vibration makes it falter. I tried installing it on the ROPS roll bar but it came loose right after launch. I need to find the best way to mount it. The other magnets stick to the steel bar very strongly, but it's like they used one of those fragile fridge magnets on the bottom. Even sitting on top and pulling gravity down wasn't enough to keep it from shaking off at launch. In no case does it stay in place when it is actually mowing.

Pros
  • β˜… Adjustable Bracket: Extremely durable bracket with powerful magnetic base that attaches to a metal surface provides high performance and stable work light. The rubber sleeve prevents scratches on your car or other surfaces. The adjustable mounting bracket is easy to install, making it easy to change the direction of the light beam. The lamp is supplied with a cigarette lighter plug, a separate switch and a connection cable with a maximum length of approx. 4 m.
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
