
My husband and I use prescription lenses for long to medium distances, but magnifying glasses are better for close-ups and reading. I usually just buy a few at the dollar store. They cost a few dollars extra per pair. They are strong and well made. Comfortable to wear. They stay on my head without too much pressure. The lenses are very clear! I would say as much as my prescription glasses. My husband went with two pairs, I put one by the bed for myself and the other in the camper. They don't have a hard case, but they do have a nice microfiber pouch so they don't get scratched. Very nice readers! I highly recommend.
