Ah, Yardley London Perfumed Talk! I have the happiest memories of Yardley from my beloved aunt, who always smelled so good and had lavender in tiny wicker baskets in her closet. Yardley's talc was in her bath and it was nice to be able to use. The shops I live in didn't have it - real English lavender from London. I was very excited but a little worried when I ordered it from Revain. Will it still be great? Yes, yes and yes. This lavender exceeded my expectations - the container is large and generously holds 7 ounces, which is a lot of talc - the top is perforated with a lid that slides to cover the talc when I'm done, preventing wasteful spills and keeps it in place the scent - it is intensely lavender in color so it could be used as a toiletry bag. When used as a body powder, the scent is there but more delicate, not like I've jumped in a vat of cologne - SILK Talk! Sooooo soft and leaves a silky feel on my skin - it doesn't wrinkle or curl on my clothes but stays where it belongs on the skin. Queen Elizabeth II and three ostrich feathers from the Prince of Wales. The base is made of high quality metal and the seams are sealed - no leakage or traces of talcum powder. It's a wonderful price, a bit of "luxury" that makes me feel like a queen now, just like I did when I was a little girl. ANY WARNING TO READERS? No warnings or problems. If.
