I have a Tensor High-Intensity table lamp from the 70's. I chose this lamp instead of an incandescent lamp. I like the pleasant white color spectrum of this lamp. The lamp does not flicker, does not dazzle. The lamp has reduced eye strain and I have found that the lamp improves the legibility of small print. The transformer in my desk lamp gets pretty hot with an incandescent bulb, but stays cold with this LED bulb. I have a truck that uses the same lamp. I will change the bulbs. I definitely recommend this lamp.
