Review on Metallic Grey Rock Jaw V2 Alfa Genus Headphones - Enhanced for SEO by Juraci Cruz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Throw away those standard headphones. Away with those iPhones!

*Please note that this review is harsh in tone for two reasons.1 The cable is poorly constructed!2. everything I've written is directly compared to their command hybrid, which is vastly superior to IEM. soooo remember k? This is a really good deal and if the cable were replaced you'd have a solid 4. While the sound quality is okay, it doesn't outweigh the heavy cable (that's where you get the HUGE star!) and doesn't insulate from friction with clothing . very loud. They supply a clip but it seems ridiculous and the clip itself is cheap quality and won't attach to things like zippers, shiny fabrics like a jacket making it pretty much useless. The cable doesn't bend, so it's pretty intrusive. Look, if you can tie him to the surface, then do it. with the clip there is only a slight distortion. However, in the north we are always dressed warmer and these layers come off quite often. The urge to rip them out of my ear is a chance I don't want to risk! Earplugs don't really provide noise isolation. You will most likely have to go with some suitable substitutes. Even using it, you'll hear some external noise, but that's to be expected since these headphones don't have noise-cancellation, after all! sound stage, or it gives the music a lot of volume. It's very similar to "Hey, you're listening to music in your living room." It's pretty flat and the black filter just muddles the bass without doing anything substantial. This is the opposite of Team, where a black filter offers a deeply intimate musical experience. AT THE SAME TIME, the filters amplify the overall music, as the gold is "empty” and lifeless, so to speak. I prefer black because, while difficult to see changes, it boosts high frequencies and fine detail (test anything that sings Birdie). For bass, for example, you can find a wider and more immersive bass with Nostalghia - Homeostasis. So what I'm trying to say is that the emphasis on the high and low frequencies is really specific to different music. So if you like bass music go for silver, if you like folk/indie go for black. If you go w black and take something like Rage Against The Machine, you don't get that raw experience. If you fight Elliot Smith with silver, you will miss out on that magic. So choose based on what you enjoy listening to, not "well, I think I like the bass better". The highs are a bit grainy overall, and the smooth, crisp highs are compromised. Bass is enough but nothing flashy. However, the bass filter gives it some importance. With the filter, the bass appears a bit dull, in very deep bass corners and a bit cut off. I really wish it was inherently solid (gold for example is so flat) that would support the "natural" filter more. I'd rather save my commands and remove my in-ear headset than get them as the audio quality is on par with a similar product from another company. a rather sad proposal compared to the team. Looking back I wish I could have stayed with Kommand and I urge you to check it out first before looking at this one. At this price point this is a decent IEM, however there are better ports out there, especially Kommands. In fact when I say better I just mean their teams because you will NOT find better products at this price point. They're nowhere near your typical shop-and-buy item, so I recommend them before heading to the local radio shed (if there's another one nearby). Before you do something stupid like an entry-level Sony buy or skull. Sweets (I can hardly pronounce the name), I urge you to look at this company and if Kommands is not in your price range, go for this one. You will not be disappointed. Casual users will not be disappointed! This company values quality. and it shows. These things are amazingly well built, light weight and really feel like high end IEMs. Customer service is a rock star. This is a small business and deserves attention! besides, they are British; All Americans love Brits!
