I travel a lot so I'm pretty picky about which bag I take with me when I'm out. First, I look for the "friendliness" of a bag, and yes, there is such a thing as an annoying companion, even if it's an item. Then the size, then the price. But look, I keep everything I need in a bag, and the bag is with me all the time, so yes, I'm looking for a friendly companion. I want my bag to stay on my shoulder so I can balance comfortably when I move, don't scratch my hand with the zipper when I reach in, and struggle when trying to put something down. Well this Travelon Anti-Theft Heritage hobo is really cute and friendly. Made from thick but soft canvas so it doesn't feel like nylon. It looks ready for adventure in a sturdy but not overly sporty vehicle. You can wear it on the shoulder or across the body and it stays perfectly balanced. The lightning doesn't attack you when you reach out and you don't have to strain to take things in or out. Now for the size: almost perfect. You can put your kindle, ipad air, passport organizer, small camera, big phone, chargers, cosmetics. and you still have room to play. And that's just the main part! There is another secure compartment on the front to store your wallet, keys and anything you use more frequently but need to be protected from prying hands. On the back of the bag there is another compartment that can easily store a book, a map, sunglasses , tissues , even a compact umbrella. I have the pewter color and it's quite nice, inside is a nice material that doesn't get dirty easily and most importantly not the kind of color that makes you cringe when you look inside because frankly "pink" way too is overrated and other pastel colors are good for luggage. This is a bag. What I like most is how it is divided into compartments and how practical it is, the size, the feel and even the color. I wish there was another material besides canvas but I think I would choose canvas anyway. I give five stars!
