I was a bit skeptical when I received it. It was folded so tight for shipping that I was afraid it would be flimsy. I immediately threw the dryer away to see if the wrinkles were gone and if the wrinkles were permanent. Luckily, the creases stayed intact and the creases were easily treated. It's light but not flimsy. It is important to note that based on previous reviews I ordered a king size duvet for my king size bed. SO glad I did! Admittedly, I didn't think of king-size pillowcases, but that doesn't really matter. In any case, we were shrinking from the king, so we had ones that could be used as a sham. Our new bed has drawers so we wanted to be able to tuck the duvet in for easy handling. To be honest I still find it a bit short even for a king but it suits our queen size needs. Only recommended if you order a size larger than you need.
