I love this curling iron. It heats up quickly and is very pleasant to use. I took part in the girls' trip. There were 11 of us and it worked for everyone, thick, curly, straight, skinny. For thicker hair, I would hold it on the highest setting for 20 seconds. For fine hair, I would hold it on the heat of the mesh for 12 seconds. To make the curls last longer, we used hairspray right after each curl and then brushed it out and sprayed it again at the end. My curls lasted 3 days and my hair is medium thick (then it got too messy). The curls lasted 2 days on my girlfriend with very thick hair. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that you can't set an exact temperature with the temperature settings. But for the price 10/10. Good product!
