I just had 3 neck discs replaced 2 weeks ago. I was told to keep my head and neck at a 60 degree angle to avoid stress on the screws and metal plates inserted into my neck. Tried to fold pillows but it didn't work. Days passed without sleep. My wife finally found this pillow. This pillow allows me to adjust it to give me the perfect amount of support and now I can sleep through the night. I will definitely let my doctor know the brand name so he can recommend it to other patients. We actually bought 2 of these so my wife and I have our own. I will be using this long after I recover from my surgery. I highly recommend this pillow even if you don't have back problems. Now that I have it I would pay twice as much and see how well it works.
