I needed a backing that would stay put when attaching some items to a leather vest. All standard spins were insufficient and I lost them within an hour. It's great and it works! I have given a few to several friends who have been struggling with the same issue and they love them. The only complaint might be that they are a bit big which may annoy some people as they can bump into you but I agree with that as I haven't had a single loss in the months they have been on my vest .
