These Deborah Lippmann gel polishes are very good quality and make a great gift set. I bought this for my mother for Christmas and she loves it. The glittery gold polish is even lighter and prettier than I expected, but the red polish is a much duller, dull brownish red. It's not red. Thankfully it still fits my mom well, but it's not what I was looking for. Product photography is a little deceiving. The bottles are small, but it's a decent deal considering you get two different colors for the price of a regular bottle. Nail polish lasts longer if you apply several thin coats, letting each coat dry in between, and you can literally peel off dried polish in a few days without using nail polish remover. The ingredients are better than most nail polishes on the market and it has decent staying power. You can also use gold polish over maroon red for a shimmery look as it can be worn as a sheer coat or for added sparkle. I would recommend this kit if you know that red polish is very cloudy and brown.
