One of my cats is older and very picky about food. She has to mix Dasuquin, a powdered feline joint supplement, into her food. Half the time she only eats 1.5 ounces of her food (we give her 6 ounces a day, 3 ounces in the morning and 3 ounces in the afternoon) before her next meal. She weighs about 8 pounds. Ever since I started putting this in her food, she's been cleaning her bowl a lot! what a good girl She's gained about 2 pounds since I started mixing it. I use half a packet and then put the unused half in the fridge to mix with my next meal (i.e. 1 packet per day). It would be great if they could make large resealable bags as I really regret the packaging waste these disposables create, but I'm not sure if this keeps the contents fresh enough for the cat. The ingredients aren't all that great, so I really only recommend this "cat junk food" to anyone with an underweight, picky eater who needs to gain weight.
