We have a dark blue pillow that we got when our girl was a little puppy. She decided she didn't care about a cage so she's moved around the house and now lives in the front bay window where she likes to lie down when I'm at work during the day. They're thin and versatile, easy to wash and the blue has held up well for the past 6 months. She doesn't chew, so I can't confirm that, but she likes to lie on her furry side, and that's a nice big area to use for the Settle and Place commands. We will be having another dog this weekend so we brought the large cage back and ordered a second olive version. Fits perfectly in the large cage and our current dog even lay on it without being asked. However, olive green looks gray. It's not green. I thought it might have been a mixed up color but I think the tag was marked green. Definitely not olive oil. More like light green sage if not grey. Spring. Since another dog is coming this weekend, I won't swap colors. It also offers average comfort as a drawer cushion. They are intended only for unloading the plastic floor; I would never call it a "bed" and my dogs have other proper beds, pillows and blankets when they need more substance underneath.
