I've had an old shaving brush and soap can for years and really only used them until the original soap ran out and I went back to cream shaving. After I used up my last 4 pack of Costco Edge I decided to give it another try - it's a lot cheaper and gives a 3-4x better shave than 4 large Edge cans. Well it works very well. , has a great old school smell that doesn't overpower or linger at all, lathers pretty well (four stars) and works as well as any lather I've ever used - 35 years of experience here! I think it's important to have a quality badger bristle brush - I've had mine for 35 years and used to be my dad - she's probably 60 years old - and she still has all of her bristles intact - a good brush is vital to maintaining her get a good shaving cream. I love three packs - when I'm on the last one I know I need to re-order what I have. They come individually wrapped to keep them fresh and dry - the only downside is that they're not very travel friendly - the typical soap jar doesn't have a lid and can make a bit of a mess in a shaving bag - so a small jar of shaving foam they still have one certain value. Real men use a razor - ask a woman.
