I love contact paper!

I recently moved into an old building. Many kitchen shelves were already full, but those that weren't needed and those that were are also very necessary. I'm in love with contact paper. You have a few minutes before it sticks permanently so you can move it if needed, which I did. multiple times. A grid is printed on the back so it's easy to cut straight lines and get the right size. Also, it's very easy to take an X-Acto knife or utility knife and cut off excess material once you put it on the shelf. The paper itself is thin but strong. I've been using it for about 3 months, no complaints. You'll need some sort of scraper (I used a plank scraper from my kitchen) to go over it after you put it down to remove air bubbles and make sure it lays flush with the shelf.

Pros
  • Storage and organization
Cons
  • Almost everything there
