After almost 7 years of use, my iPod's aux port no longer accepts cables, so naturally I decided to take advantage of the Bluetooth capabilities and see the possibilities expand dying machine. Lifespan of at least one year. I work full-time in night stockings, so I was particularly interested in the claimed long battery life. I've previously ordered another pair that advertised a runtime of 8 hours (the length of my shift) but barely ran half of that time before the battery died completely. I'm surprised that these headphones do very well in terms of battery life. They worked my whole shift and I didn't even get a low battery message. I'm not sure they can last up to 14 hours like the description suggests, but I don't think anyone needs a pair of wireless headphones that last anywhere near that long. 8 hours is very impressive for some bud, most of the more expensive buds don't seem to last that long. However, I don't like a few things; Firstly, the cords coming out of the ear hooks are chosen a little oddly, I usually only work with one cord at a time and this design makes it difficult to clip another to my collar. Second, there is a fairly loud static noise that occurs when playing a song at a lower bitrate, everything else sounds fine. However, I didn't notice it after a while so it's not a big deal, like I said, the battery life is all I was looking for and it exceeded my expectations. An excellent product for the price.
