This bag is all I need for road trips.
I tried different bags on my motorcycle (BMW R1200GS). But this bag fits perfectly on the rear passenger seat. (I just don't like the bulky standard side pockets and the cost of $1,000 + clip + pockets). Has excellent loops for tying. With bungee cords that I loop under my seat. I think a 40L bag is more than enough for my travels. The bag is attached or removed very quickly. I have tested this bag in all road and off-road conditions and in all weather conditions. = No problem. I can still drive on single lane trails or lanes that separate freeways from California roads. This is not possible with side pockets.
