Review on Planar PX2230MW Touchscreen LCD Monitor: Advanced 9.0 248mm 1920x1080 Display, Model ‎997-5983-00 by Kareem Bailey

My company bought this monitor to use as a video kiosk interface. This device has a good picture and excellent touch sensitivity. It's unobtrusive and attractive, with several convenient mounting methods. However, there are issues with the drivers for this monitor that are not (yet) fixed (for almost 2 years). These driver issues cause the monitor not to wake up from sleep mode. This happens (apparently) randomly. After this error occurs, you must restart your computer before "opening" the monitor drivers. If this is your primary monitor. At this point you are very sad. This device sits opposite a much older Elo monitor. Despite being older, the Elo far outperforms the Planar in terms of reliability. I will probably no longer use Planar products.
