I don't miss the times when I had to wrap a huge towel around my wet head. They felt heavy and fell off when I bent down to pick something up. These gray SimpleField microfiber headbands (2-pack) are easy to put on and stay in place as they fasten well with a button and elasticated loop. These are the first ones I've seen that have two button choices and smart design as they adjust to head size and hair volume. The gray color with white buttons looks gorgeous and I love the textured look of the fabric. They're perfect for using after the shower as they absorb some moisture (but not as much as cotton) and keep my hair from falling in my face while I'm putting on makeup. Basically I like that I don't feel the rush of drying and styling my hair right after I shower and I can relax a bit, do chores or whatever without my head falling. They cut down on blow dry time a bit by absorbing some water which I think is better for my hair. I can't tell how much they pick up for those who have a lot of thick wavy hair. They are made of synthetic microfiber and feel very light. My first headbands were the original cotton headbands. While I think cotton absorbs water better, stitches don't last as long as microfiber bandages. I have fine hair and they absorb enough water to make a difference and the main reason I enjoy using them is that they don't get in the way of my wet hair while I'm getting ready or doing other things. They feel strong, with well-stitched seams, and the quality is the same or even better than similar headbands I've used for years. I use one after every shower and think they would make a great gift alone or as part of a spa gift. They feel and look better than most. Definitely recommend. 5 Stars.
