We stumbled across this while Christmas shopping and thought our 2 year old would love it. It's very light and feels sturdy on falls and throws. We checked it out after our little one went to bed, I assumed it was green light binoculars but you can actually see in the dark with them. They don't have scope controls, they stay focused, it's focused enough that little ones can see a little farther than our eyes allow, but not far enough to damage their little eyes. The thread on it is designed to break easily, but not so easily that it cannot be worn around the neck. We are happy that we can give them to our little man on Christmas morning, he will be very happy about it. If you are looking for a good pair of binoculars/night vision for your toddler or preschooler I would highly recommend these, they are great and value for money!
