Review on Shine In The Rain With BESTKEE Lightsaber Umbrella - 7 Color LED Shaft & Bottom Torch (Red) by Brian Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love this sturdy "Bladerunner " umbrella "

As a longtime fan of the movie Bladerunner i jumped at the chance to buy this umbrella. When the movie was made, the umbrella poles were neon tubes and total sci-fi. With advances in LEDs and lighting the iconic prop is now real and its mine! At over $25 this isnt cheap but its a nice large canopy with a sturdy post that lights up with color changing l.e.d.s.I was a bit concerned that when i opened the umbrella and it didnt click into place with a metal tab and clasp mechanism, but it performed great during a heavy rain. With the rainy season upon us, this umbrella will keep me dry and alert motorists to my presence.I like the flashlight in the handle. The lighted pole isnt bright enough for any practical application (besides increasing visibility) but the handle mounted flashlight is a welcome addition.I love my lighted umbrella! 🌂

Pros
  • ♥ MAKE YOU DIFFERENT:Futuristic black umbrella with LED light-up shaft, flashlight function on the bottom.Safe in the rain and dark street. Also can be used as an ordinary rain umbrella.
Cons
  • Very little protection from the rain

I love this thing, makes me smile. It finally rained and I got to use it. I wish the flashlight was a push button/switch as the sensor is really sensitive and turns itself on constantly.

I’ve bought like three or four of these now to make parasols for festivals and this one was by far the most annoying because of the touch-sensitive flashlight. But as someone else said just pull the handle apart and clip the wire, works for me since I have no desire to use the flashlight part anyway. I also don’t like how with these clear umbrellas, no matter what brand you get, the tips of the ribs are barely connected to the canopy. I had to reinforce those eight points with epoxy before I started to build the rest of the umbrella. Overall not bad we’ll see how it holds up coming up in a few weeks.
