Here is a simple overview for non-technical people. My work computer is a Mac (MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, four Thunderbolt 3 ports)). I needed a monitor that plugged into my computer's USB-C port. It does the job. Installation/configuration took 5 minutes. Turned on the monitor, hooked it up to my Mac and bam, my display went up. It looks like another desktop screen, not a duplicate of my current screen. You can drag and drop items to view. If you want to duplicate your screen instead, you can certainly set that up in your Mac's preferences. It charges your laptop at the same time. It doesn't have extra speakers, but my Mac speakers + headphones do the trick. The screen size is good, especially compared to my 13 inch display. Not sure if the height is adjustable, but you can tilt the screen back and forth a bit. I'm so tired of looking at monitors to see if they're compatible with my Mac. It does. search no more. And for the price it's worth it. I look forward to not being hunched over my laptop while working remotely.
