I don't know the size but it fits my 12" laptop perfectly and probably has enough room for a 17". I put more things in this backpack than should fit. Overall it's thin but I LOVE that it shrinks even further to a basic laptop sleeve but when it's done all it can do is slip the laptop into a second pouch that looks like fur and is soft and gray, my charger and my little mouse bulky in subtle conversion. The straps attach with hooks that are unusual but durable. I've been using it every day for a month and I love it.
