A total waste of money

As others have said, pretty much a waste of money. There should be a prototype for them all over China and everyone just copies this crappy design and uses a different box label. Problems: 1) The lines are dull, difficult to push through any fabric. 2) Some "shafts" have burrs and do not roll. 3) Cheap plastic heads, barely soldered into plastic. They pop out at the slightest lateral pressure. 20% discount was in the box when received. Many break trying to use them. I still have 4 pieces from 40 years ago, all metal, like a long button, but with a bend on the shaft. Too bad they don't do anything else in the US. I wouldn't mind paying $20 for a box of 40 if they were all metal - at least they would work!

Pros
  • Multi-Purpose: Not only can these pins fasten loose fabrics to furniture for upholstery, armrests, slipcovers and placemats, but they can also hold drapes and drapes, fix sagging car ceiling upholstery, or hang photos and art. Bed skirt to go with the mattress, a must for everyday use
Cons
  • Expensive
