I wish I could start with this cable! I had a very stiff "regular" cable plugged directly into my laptop and I was ready to toss it in the bin! I need a direct connection when I'm at my usual place at home, but even then the laptop doesn't just stand still. I keep shifting it from the bedside table to my knees. and other places around my chair. The hard cable is so frustrating! It didn't "drape" when I moved it, but just stuck out and caught on things. And ripped out of my laptop (ending up breaking a small piece on the laptop where it was plugged in). Again, I wish I had started! It's hard to describe the situation without videos comparing the two devices, but it really is a big difference. Another nice difference is how easy it is to reel this cable. I have excess length and this is easy to manage. At this price level there is simply no dispute. this is the right choice!
