These were the only non-custom boots I could find on a rush to protect my dog's paw pads from hot asphalt during the summer months rather than winter conditions! If you have a large or giant breed dog they should fit but may twist or turn depending on how tightly you attach the Velcro. There are two straps in each boot, and both are necessary - they are properly designed. Depending on your dog's personality, he may HATE wearing them and may not even want to wear them. If you have an obedient, calm dog, he will quickly get used to it and will not mind. They can be returned if your dog doesn't get used to wearing them, so better safe than sorry. This is an extra "step" you can take to protect your dog's health that I ALWAYS recommend! Good choice of colors and fast delivery.
