Like all other unlined children's leggings I've found, these tights are too thin. Through them you can see the child's underwear. If they have a pattern on their underwear, it's even worse. The color of the underwear is also visible. Too bad we bought so many kids leggings only to return them due to the transparency of the fabric. Lined leggings are good in the winter, but not the rest of the year. None of my three girls will wear them for this reason. If anyone reading this knows of a brand that doesn't show through, PLEASE let me know. I have tried Carter's, Lands End and many others with the same result. Who wants to send their daughter something for the world to see her underwear in. I know they make leggings fabric that doesn't see through because my leggings don't see through. Do not use pantyhose fabric for children's leggings.
