This coat is very thin and light; I had some doubts when I first pulled it out of my pocket. Surely nothing this thin could be warm enough for a Minnesota winter? So I pulled it over my pajamas and took the dogs outside in the 4 degree weather and I stood there. And stood there. And stood there. I was so surprised that despite its intangible appearance it is very very warm! The hood is a bit big - it hangs over my eyes if I don't pull it up. And the lightning is not great; I have to fiddle with the zipper to make sure it closes and doesn't bind. But overall this is a great coat!
