Review on Diella Automatic Mechanical Skeleton Stainless by Jessica Romero

An amazing watch that stands out is a classic

Black and gold are two colors that look very good when presented properly. I like it when gold has a shiny but yellow dominant variation. This would be the opposite of something like rose gold, which looks pink or burgundy. For the black and gold style to work for me in wristwatch format, the shiny gold should dominate the black part. With this super beautiful watch from the Diella brand, I have found the perfect combination of these two classic stylish colors that define and emphasize the class of the watch. This is the style of winding watch that I prefer and which I believe is intended for the real watchmaker. There is an added element of care and responsibility associated with such watches. Internal gears are complicated and man-made, so they require attention. So it seems reasonable to rotate them thirty or forty times over a two-week period to improve the quality and style you get in return. I love that the base color of this gold plated is stainless steel which gives it that extra sparkle that works so well with the black center piece. Sitting smack in the middle of the watch strap, the black piece is the key feature of the linkage system that connects the pieces together for adjustment if needed. I removed two links and reinserted one of them. After removing just one of them I still have some room off my wrist, but not too much. I will say that the craftsmanship of this watch is superior to many watches I own. I enjoy collecting watches and almost always have to remove a link or two, so I'm very familiar with the process. Why I say the craftsmanship of this watch is unique is that removing the links was more difficult due to the added piece of metal just above the link. This metal part consists of two parts, one on each of the connecting parts. I was impressed by this intricate additional order that shows the brand's special care for style. I can say with certainty that adjusting some of the belt links cannot be attempted by an inexperienced person. I have set many clocks and it has been difficult for me. I would either have it done by someone with experience or take it to a professional watchmaker to get it tuned. I love the face of this watch with internal stones like zircon dots that give off a nice shine when casually walking around. Another nifty feature of the dial are the inner circles, one of which has an open window into the inner workings of the watch. You can see a constantly moving dial that acts as a dual function to indicate if the watch needs to be wound. When this internal mechanism slows down or stops, you know you need to adjust something. The trick is to always catch it before it slows down and pay attention to your watch's winding schedule. This helps preserve the inner parts of the watch. I like that there is a real blue emerald on the crown of the dial that controls the settings. This dial works the traditional way: you pull it out to adjust, then push it back in to hook. The strap closure is interesting in that it features a two-component closure system. By that I mean that it has a snap that consists of two parts, one on the left and one on the right, that converge in the middle. This is a great idea that makes the watch easier to put on and take off by creating a large opening through which you can quickly take it off. In closing, I love this watch and will easily give it five stars. I recommend this for formal occasions when you want to impress.
