UPDATE - 1 year later my daughter is still wearing these shoes. The metal part of the buckle was permanently stuck in the open position and I kept scratching so I just removed the metal part and they still look cute and work great! Super cute shoes! My girl (3 years 9 months) wears a 9 but they sold out so I ordered a 9.5 and they fit well and there is room to grow. 9 would fit better so I would say they are true to size! The only problem is that sometimes the metal part of the buckle, the part that should go through the strap hole, gets stuck in the back and scratches me. But the strap is velcro so it's just for beauty anyway. They must be comfortable because my daughter often chooses them. I hope this review was useful to you!
