This dress is better than I expected, especially the feel and look of the fabric however: I could have sized down and if I had the next two issues may not have been issues (I’m curvy and I orders a large based on the measurements but a medium would have been better.) The ruching at the top is a bit much, all the gathered fabric on top looked a bit bulky. And because the dress was slightly big the length was too much as well. I kept the dress and wore it (I pinned the shoulders to adjust the length) because there was no time to reorder the smaller size before my event but I plan to have it altered for a more custom fit, I think then it’ll really have that glamorous vintage look that’s intended! Overall it’s a great black dress for the price that I’ll wear again.
