Made from soft, durable fabric and ankle length. When advertised as "slim", they mean legs only. The legs are tight like leggings but the material is much thicker. Our problem is the waist size. There are elastic drawstrings that need to be pulled up and buttoned to reduce the waist. BUT the waist starts out so big that when I got them down to 4 buttons the hips and back of the pants looked ridiculous, all crumpled up and they were still too loose for my granddaughter. If your child has more girth around the waist and bottom and likes tight leggings, then these leggings are for you.
