This trimmer exceeded my expectations. I needed something accurate and easy to use to cut smaller sizes to create custom ATC layers. I have a few trimmers, but they all either rotate or have a tiny blade. And I was worried that the bypass trimmer might cause my paper to shift while cutting or be a little less accurate than my other trimmers. Well this trimmer works great! I've used it to trim paper, cardboard, multi-ply cardboard and even encaustic wax board which can combine rotary and retractable trimmer blades with excellent results. I get a perfect cut there are no breaks or breaks anywhere on the cut. I am very glad I made this purchase, it was reasonably priced, small enough to be easily stored and serves its purpose perfectly. You can not ask for more!
