These cubes have saved one of my rooms from endless clutter. I bought cubical shelves and these cubes to go in them, and its like having endless drawers to put all the loose stuff into. Shelves come in various sizes up to 12 cubes big, and can be joined. (See ClosetMaid (1290) Cubeicals Organizer)This cloth containers are not rigid, they have some firmness but can bend and bulge, and you can't put too much weight into them or the bottom bulges down when picked up.I am using several colors to get decorative effects in the shelves - like a checkerboard in a 12 cube shelf. Be sure to check each color for its price - there is a very large (and weird) variation in costs. Shelves also differ greatly in cost so check each color before making a decision.
