This is the first time I've used tape on my racquet. Not knowing exactly which one I needed, I figured something colorful and inexpensive would be a good start. Even with 12 tapes, even if I make a mistake while packing, it's not a problem. As it turns out, wrapping the handles is as easy as peeling a pear (there are no instructions in the kit, but there's plenty of useful info on the net). Simply peel the plastic off the tape - this will be the side that comes in contact with your hand - making sure to save the narrow black tape to seal the end. The bands seem to be the right thickness - not too thin as some have mentioned, if they were thicker they would increase the grip size too much - and so far they still feel quite tacky after a few games which definitely adds to comfort and game contributes !
