This is an amazing drinker. It differs from my previous automatic watering in that it doesn't include any equipment; This wasn't a problem for me though as I used to have a 4 gallon automatic float water supply that came with metal brackets for mounting over the fence or on the wall and a female hose fitting. What my previous water didn't bring was a 3/4" garden hose, which wasn't a problem either since the 3/4" garden hose came from my old washing machine (both hot and cold water lines). Also, I didn't use screws to attach the sprinkler to the fence. I used twine from my hay bales to tie it to the fence (looks good, I promise). This way I can set up and take down the fence whenever I want and I don't have to worry about drilling new holes in the wooden fence. If you don't have all of the items that I was able to recycle from used items, you can purchase them at the local hardware section of your favorite store. I would suggest bringing an automatic drinker so you don't have to do more than one trip.
