I bought two of these to find an alternative to an expensive docking station. I also have a 2018 MBP 15 with Vega 20 graphics, so compatibility with the new MBP model is key. According to other reviews, they looked simple enough, and according to other reviews, they had quality connection and ease of use. I wasn't disappointed! I hooked up these babies, hooked up everything I needed and boom! Everything works perfectly. I have an external 1TB SSD, LG 2 4K monitors, Scarlet 6i6 audio interface, Microsoft USB mouse and micro USB cable (for charging) all connected to plenty of free ports. The two USB-C connectors on each latch are snug and stay connected. The color also goes really well with MBP Space Gray and I like the rounded edges that give it a more sophisticated look. If you are looking for more ports or just a possible dock alternative, I 100% recommend this article.
