These IEMs are brilliant in some ways; in others they need MUCH more development to even make them a 4 star product. Many of the cons that I will list later are actually PITAs, which is a problem as these IEMs have a lot of potential! PROs: * These are the first IEMs I've used that the included tips provide a good seal (which is solved when using an IEM). . I usually have to use the SpinFit tips to get a good print.* The personalization software available (Nura) is pretty good. You can use it to customize how you want these headphones to work. (More on that in the CONS section below.) * Adjustable noise cancellation works well. * Hearing customization is great and is the main selling point of these headphones. The storage bag is pathetic. I recommend getting one of these to protect the product - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D2D71M2 - Use the included case to store the "hard" connector cable. *Battery life is terrible for them. . Even turning them off (manually) when not in use will drain the battery in a few days! (Make sure to turn them on and off manually.) That way, you can't just pick them up and use them whenever you want!* Being able to control these headphones with one touch is a great idea, BUT the sensitivity of The touch controls are so "fussy" that they can sometimes use PITA. * The connector module in the middle of the head cord may be uncomfortable if you use it while lying on your back. * If you use these in "hard" mode (instead of bluetooth) the connector module will sometimes loosen so much that they stop working. The connector has a magnetic sleeve and there are approximately 8 contact points. So if you move your head or body, you may need to disconnect and reconnect. Another PITA. * Proprietary charging cable may pose an issue. If you lose or damage it, you're done. * Charging (which happens quite often) is problematic. They claim to be fully charged on the first try, but they are NOT. You have to disconnect them from the charging cable briefly and then charge them again. More PITA. I worry that with all these poorly protected contact points, any "corrosion" from use will only make this connection problem worse. * The adjustable "Dive" setting is another brilliant idea for a better listening experience BUT it's problematic to use. I have to explain this. The level of "immersion" can be adjusted to any desired level via the Nura app. BUT using the touch controls on the earbuds themselves to change the dive mode takes work. If I were designing this I would disable the dip to the minimum setting selected by the USER in the app. Likewise, I would enable dip at any max value that the USER selects in the app. In real use this does NOT happen. The 'off' dive always seems to go to the middle setting of the APP, while the 'on' dive seems to change from time to time, either from last 'on' use OR up to max dive. Another PITA. In short, those who can live with all the shortcomings will love these headphones. I think ALL of these issues (except for the loopback issues) can be fixed with software revisions. If this happens and usage improves I will try to update this review.
