I ordered this in beige. Beige is beige, not cream. Not quite white. Do not know. It's beige. I would have preferred a slightly creamier color, but beige suits me better. If you're looking for milky cream or off-white, this color might not be for you. The size corresponds to the measurements given. Inside there is enough space for blankets and pillows. Maybe children's books and toys if you have children. The lid stays open even when it's open. The hinges prevent it from closing unless you intentionally close the lid. Also good if you have children. It washes easily and looks durable. It's also flat and level enough to place a cup and saucer or dinner plate on top. It can hold an adult human for a short time. I think if you sit on it for a long time, even if you're not very heavy, you can dent the lid permanently. The inside is lined with black fabric, not the thin, see-through fabric that some furniture is wrapped in these days. This is a durable fabric that should last with reasonable use. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is a skipped stitch in the lid seam that I hope won't unravel. It's barely noticeable. One of the legs was also damaged, which is easy to screw on. I don't have to worry because I was planning to replace them with a New Dimension wooden sofa, chair and ottoman leg with roll (also purchased from Revain). I wouldn't let these things stop me from buying this item again as it fits the L shape of my department perfectly. With new legs, this is an essential detail, as I had hoped. Delivery was very quick via standard shipping.
