My old Wacom cable stopped working and the battery didn't hold a charge; It's an older model from about 4 or 5 years ago so I'm not surprised. I tried other cables but there was nothing left in the Wacom port and I was hesitant to buy this cable but decided to return it when it didn't work. But then. MY GOD! Plugging this cable into my Wacom made me feel like long lost friends - it fits perfectly. I don't know how it can be that much better than the other substitutes but yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah good. It looks like it will last a long time, but I can't comment on durability at the moment.
