We love the homemade tacos at our house, but they keep flipping and the filling falls out. These holders make a world of difference, especially with hard shell tacos. They can all be leaned against the holder in one direction to avoid slipping or tipping over when moving the plate from the kitchen to a table or sofa. This makes it convenient for loading soft tacos. The instructions say they can be reheated in the oven. We tried this, but be sure to use a pair of oven mitts as the entire piece is stainless steel, including the "handles". I wouldn't call the booklet that comes with the kit a recipe book, let's put it that way. It's really just a list of toppings for a specific type of taco, such as: B. a fish taco or a pork taco. We have our favorite taco ingredients so it's not what we needed. There are 6 holders in the set, so it's perfect for a family.
