I work in an environment where I have to wear boots every day. I was practically unable to continue my work because I had a surgical scar that ran down my ankle and was wearing away, opening and becoming infected. This allowed me to wear the boots comfortably despite my scar and my scar was able to close and heal. They are durable enough to be machine washed.
