I hate sticky buckles. I wear all my tops over jeans etc so the bulges with the buckles are very noticeable. I can say that this belt did its job quite well. The disadvantages outweighed the advantages. The fabric is a simple, wide elastic that goes through the belt loops of women's jeans, but it's very long and you had to double it to fit a medium waist. This doubling made it thicker and a little less comfortable. What I really didn't like was the plastic "buckle". It's made of cheap looking and feeling plastic, doesn't snag easily and sometimes won't snap into place. If the belt is visible, not attractive, to say the least. I liked the invisible belt idea, but not this one. Not worth the $10 paid. Maybe for $5 I would keep it for myself. Although it works very well.
